We should not underestimate the power of nature. If we consider the example of grains, then they are an example of power-packed energy. Just look at the various grains, pulses, even dry fruits, they are hard and packed in such a small volume by nature; but are packed with an enormous amount of energy. That's the beauty of nature. Also, it's not easy to produce such energy-packed items. This has formed after the generations of the optimizing processes.
Any kind of food is formed in nature with enormous optimizations. There are just too many variables to tune in to produce highly nutritious and high-quality food with high yield. But humans are doing this for a long and we are optimizing it for generations. So, we could able to learn the art of farming and producing our own foods. We mastered that art and are now satisfying the stomach of billions of people across the world. Though we mastered this art, we still face production issues sometimes as nature turns against us. If you are doing farming in a controlled environment, then no issues with the production, but that increases your production costs.
Anyway, the point I want to discuss here is, all these pulses are so power-packed with energy by nature that if you put those things back in the soil and nurture it properly with proper moisture and required conditions then it holds the power to give birth to a totally new life. That's the power it holds. It's like the capsule of medicines that you use to consume for getting energy or for recovering from some disease. When you eat these, the energy-packed inside those gets busted inside you and you excite with it. It satisfies your hunger and provides your nutrition.
Any kind of seeds are the most power-packed energy sources in nature and nature makes it, preserves it by hiding it inside the fruits, or by providing it with some kind of protective coverings. Nature understands the power of that seed and so it tries to protect all the seeds to their maximum and tries to enhance the survival chances of that seed as that particular seed holds the regeneration power of that plant.
